Date Night During COVID-19
Have you been having date nights during this pandemic? It can be challenging to plan dates in normal times but now it’s even more challenging.
My husband got creative.
He made a deal with our daughter and son-in-law and said we’d take their two toddlers for a night in exchange for them taking our son for a night.
They closed that deal quicker than you can say BINGO!
Taking the grandkids for a night was way too much fun. We got take out, watched movies, ate popcorn, and ran outside in the backyard. In the morning grandpa made pancakes, they got a bath and then mom and dad came and took them back home.
On our night we felt like teenagers whose parents were out. Our son left early evening, we ordered in and enjoyed our date outside in our back patio.
This arrangement has proven to be a great exchange and a way to have very enjoyable date nights.
“I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine, He who pastures his flock among the lilies.”
-Song of Solomon 6:3
Need a date night? Don’t let the coronavirus stop you. Pasture that flock–whatever that means. *bug eyes emoji
